Paula Brown
Paula Brown became the co-owner of Reigning Cats and Dogs in Kennebunk, Maine after many years of being a customer. She eventually bought the store with partner, Jason and added a second store in Wells, Maine. Over the years Paula & Jason have become a source of information for pet owners who regularly seek their expertise.
During there tenure Reigning Cats and Dogs has developed a strong following for pet grooming, all natural holistic foods and as well as hard to find pet accessories. Paula is always quick to share her experiences with customers and help them make informed choices.
Paula can be found at the Wells store on Friday's and Wednesday evenings with Foxy, the store cat.
Jason Perkins
Jason Perkins is the other half of Reinging Cats and Dogs. He is responsible for the companies organization. He places orders and is in charge of maintanence. You will most likely find him in the Kennebunk store.
Jason Perkins was a customer of Reigning Cats & Dogs long before he became an owner. "With three dogs," he jokes, "We thought it would be a cheaper way to support our habit." Jason has a great memory for customers and their pets names. He is friendly and passionate about providing excellent customer service.
He and Paula are both native Mainers. Jason is also a (retired) chili king. For 3 years in a row his chili won the "People's Choice Award" at the Maine State Chili Cook-off. But now he's retired from competition, and devotes all his time to Reigning Cats & Dogs.
Paula and Jason purchased the Kennebunk store in September, 2001, and opened the Wells store in May, 2004.
